A video showing a Wildwood, New Jersey police officer punching a beachgoer in the head after tackling her Saturday afternoon has gone viral.
The video begins with the woman pinned to the sand by officers as her legs kick in the air before 1 of the officers chooses to punch her in the head 2 times.
A bystander can be heard saying “stop resisting.”
The woman is also heard screaming, “You’re not allowed to hit me like that! ” and “I didn’t do anything wrong!”

Emily Weinman of Philadelphia posted the video on her Facebook page and said she was the woman being attacked by police. She said she is underage and had alcohol on the beach, but did pass a breathalyzer.
She said after the breathalyzer, police followed her as she walked away to make a phone call.
“I asked them don’t they have something better to do as cops than to stop people for underage drinking on the beach,” the Facebook post states. That is when an officer said, “I was gonna let you go but now I’ll write you up.”
Weinman was scared after threats from police, and when she refused to give her name, the officer threatened to arrest her. As she was backing up, she tripped and fell – that is when an officer tackled her.
The Wildwood Police Department said no one would be able to comment until after the holiday weekend.
