San Francisco Police Officer Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography


San Francisco Police Officer Joshua Enea, of Antioch, California, was arrested for felony possession of child pornography on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old cop is married, has one child, and is a 10-year veteran of the San Francisco Police Department. He was booked into county jail on the felony charge with a bail of $100,000.

An investigation into Enea started in February when SFPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit learned that a San Francisco police officer may be in possession of child porn. The investigation uncovered evidence to make an arrest.

During the investigation, SFPD removed him from direct contact with the public, aka a desk job.

For 2016, his total pay and benefits totaled $191,104.84 according to the Transparent California database. Needless to say, Enea has now been placed on suspension without any pay.

KRON4 reports that “multiple images discovered on his computer at his Antioch home were quite disturbing and certainly rose to the level of prosecution” in the video below:
