Jackson County Deputy Caught On Video Planting Drugs During Traffic Stop

Over 260 cases are now being reviewed after a Jackson County sheriff’s deputy was caught on video planting drugs during a traffic stop.

Zach Wester was fired earlier this month after officials reviewed the video and began an investigation.

In the video below, Wester has a small bag of methamphetamin clenched in his left hand before starting his search.

He turns the camera a little to the right so he can hide the drugs and put on his gloves.

Not long afterwards, he finds the bag on camera.

The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed against the now-former officer.
