A horrifying video has emerged showing police using a taser to torture a teenager after strapping him into a restraining chair.
The 3 deputies were only suspended after the video showed him being repeatedly tased while being restrained. That’s right, even after video proves they were torturing the teenager, they were NOT fired immediately.
Jordan Elias Norris was 18 at the time and claims that he was left with 40 pairs of Taser burns during the ordeal, reported Metro.
The police seemed to enjoy their wicked actions as one of the officers told him ‘I’ll keep doing that until I run out of batteries.’ while another orders him to ‘stop resisting’, even though he was strapped into a restraining chair and was not really able to resist anything.
Police say he was in the chair for 3 hours and screamed about wanting to die.
He has now filed a claim against the Cheatham County Jail workers accusing them of using excessive force, failure to protect and deprivation of civil rights.
Legal papers say that one of the deputies acted in a ‘sadistic and malicious nature in repeatedly tasing Plaintiff Norris, such that the force was unreasonable.’
The Tennessean reported the lawsuit states he was stunned ‘four times totalling approximately fifty seconds on his stomach and legs’.
He was arrested for drugs and weapons offences in November 2016 in Tennessee when the torture occurred
Sheriff Mike Breedlove said: ‘As Sheriff, I want our citizens to know that any inappropriate behavior that may have violated an individual’s rights will not be tolerated.”
‘I have placed the employees involved on administrative leave while the investigation is conducted. We will work closely and cooperatively with the TBI and District Attorney’s Office to ensure all facts are provided and all angles of this incident are thoroughly investigated.’
