An El Paso, Texas police officer was caught on camera pulling his gun and pointing it at a group of children during an altercation Thursday.
The profanity-laden video, posted to Facebook Friday, begins with a police officer confronting a boy seated on the sidewalk, his hand placed on the child’s head.
The incident occurred by a recreation center in the city’s Lower Valley area after police were called to deal with an alleged trespassing, reported the El Paso Times.
About 6 children shout at the officer, who has not yet been identified, so he pulls out his handgun and points it at them, saying, yelling “Back up! Back up, [expletive]!”
The children are startled for a moment, but after a few seconds they curse at the officer, who then returns his gun to its holster before calling for backup on his radio.

A second officer appears on the video, and the officers throw the seated boy to the ground and handcuff him. The first officer then waves his baton, threatening the children. He yells at them to move to the side and pushes a woman away.
“It’s all good,” says the boy who is recording the footage. “We’re going to put a report on these two fools. It’s all good.”
The officer then grabs the boy recording the incident, handcuffs him and puts him in the police car. He was able to pass off the phone to a woman before being taken so the video continues.
The officer then goes after the woman who is now holding the camera, so she runs away a little.
“I know where you live,” the officer threatens.
“I don’t care,” she replies, “I’ll move.”
The officer then stands over a little boy, arguing with and taunting him, saying, “Do something.”
Another voice can be heard saying, “He pulled out a gun on a little kid. That’s assault. That’s assault on a minor.”
The boy is eventually grabbed and placed against the squad car.
It is unknown if anyone has been charged in the incident. Sgt. Enrique Carrillo said the incident is under investigation, but he would not comment on the video.
