Cop Who Held a Gun To Unarmed Man’s Head and Mouth Sentenced To 5 Years In Prison

The Prince George’s County Police officer who was caught on video holding a gun to an innocent, unarmed man’s head and mouth has been sentenced to five years in prison.

The incident occurred during a stop, and there was no cause given by the victim that would have warranted or justified the officer’s actions.

The now-former Officer Jenchesky Santiago was sentenced for the incident that occurred in Bowie, Maryland.

All of this occurred while the man was being dropped off at his own home.

The former officer had accused the victim of parking illegally even though it was clear that he had not and the officer was merely looking for a pretext to justify stopping him.

But because of the video, Santiago was found guilty of first and second degree assault.

He was additionally convicted for the use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence and two counts of misconduct in office.
